Tour Logistics:

Departure from the hotel: 14:00 sharp (buses will leave promptly)

Return transportation: Two options available:

  • SMARTIST → IST Airport
  • SMARTIST → Event Hotel

Shuttles will start transporting attendees back to the hotel or the airport at 16:45. Attendees will arrive at the airport by 17:20 at the latest.

Important Notes:

This is a hosted tour and attendance is subject to approval by Turkish Cargo and the facility’s operational requirements. Due to limited capacity and security protocols, all participants must be pre-approved. You will receive an email confirmation if your registration is approved.

Attendee Requirements:

To participate, all attendees must submit the following:

  • A formal biometric photo (passport-style, no hats or selfies)
  • A scanned image of the passport’s first page

Facility Guidelines & Security:

As the SMARTIST facility includes airside access:

  • Do not bring: Blades, scissors, or any prohibited/dangerous items
  • Professional equipment (cameras, mics, etc.) is not allowed
  • Personal items may be stored in a secure meeting room at the SMARTIST entrance
  • Some photos may be permitted in non-restricted areas; guidance will be provided during the tour

No specific dress code, but please note that operational areas can be chilly—dress accordingly

Before the tour begins, Turkish Cargo’s occupational health and safety team will provide a short orientation on safety and facility protocols.
