ATR Aircraft

Gilles Collaveri has been working 32 years with ATR (Avions de Transport Régional), the leading franco-Italian Turboprop manufacturer based in Toulouse.  

He has been in many different positions: Product support, manager of aircraft deliveries, Contracts Director (negotiation of Aircraft contracts for the sale or lease of new or used aircraft) and he is now Business Development Director.  

Gilles is currently in charge of the development of new business, including in particular the ATR Freighters activity. This includes the marketing and sale of both new freighter (ATR72-600F) and converted aircraft (used aircraft converted with STC). He is exerting a continuous benchmarking of the freighter market and gets in contacts with all stakeholders in order to coordinate and develop new opportunities.  

He works closely with the airlines and assists them to define the strategy matching best the customer’s needs. The later will include any support, would it be technical, commercial or financial that will help airlines to convert ATR into freighters.  

In synergy with the freighter market, he also follows up the commercialization and the marketing of ATR’s portfolio used aircraft, which may be converted into freighters, and is involved in the Lessors’ strategy on their assets. 

He is also very much involved in aviation heritage and publishes regularly in magazines about aircraft archeology.
