As Head of Valuations at Cirium Ascend, George has top level responsibility for all the Current and Future Value and Lease Rate opinions produced by the company, ensuring they are accurate and up to date. He also leads the annual Future Value and Lease Rate forecasting process on all commercial aircraft and engine types, and chairs the Commercial Aircraft and Engine Value Review Boards which monitor Current Market Values and Lease Rates. George also has oversight of Business Jet and Helicopter values produced by other specialists in the team.
His experience includes supporting aircraft leasing and financing transactions, helping start-up leasing companies with their strategy and growth plans, valuations & appraisals, working with airlines on fleet planning & aircraft selection as well as general airline business planning, and providing technical and commercial advice on lease agreements.
He has also worked with aircraft lessors, aviation finance banks, aircraft and engine manufacturers as well as several airlines to support their decision-making processes.
George is currently based at Cirium’s New York office but has worked extensively with Asian, European, African, and Middle East clients in the past from Cirium’s London and Hong Kong offices.
