Fabiano Piccinno holds a PhD in Sustainable Chemistry from the University of Zurich and joined Kühne+Nagel in 2022, to globally lead all sustainability topics for air logistics. He is responsible for the sustainability strategy, the emissions , the SAF program as well as sustainability innovations. With his global team they developed a comprehensive carrier engagement program as well as work on new solutions for customers. Fabiano has over 10 years of experience working in sustainability. Starting at Empa, the Swiss Federal Laboratories of Materials Science and Technology , developing prospective lifecycle assessment (LCA) methodologies for new chemical products, he later joined the corporate sustainability team of the Swiss Federal Railways where he advanced the climate strategy, emissions calculation and circular economy.
