John Lynch holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons) and a Bachelor of Mathematics from Trinity College Dublin. He also holds an M.B.A. from University College, Dublin. Prior to joining Babcock & Brown in 1998, Mr. Lynch worked at Lufthansa as a Senior Engineer.  

At BBAM, Mr. Lynch was the Chief Technical Officer for almost a decade. Following which he led the EMEA marketing team for over ten years. He now leads the BBAM freighter program.  

Between 2012 and 2017 he was a non-Executive Director on the board of Dublin Airport Authority plc.  

Mr. Lynch has 35 years’ experience in the aviation industry.
