Juan earned a degree in Aviation Business Administration and Air Transport Economics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and has over ten years of experience in the aviation and travel industries, focusing on market economics, business intelligence, and sustainability. Currently in his second period at ALTA, Juan leads the development of economic studies that support policy decisions and assist the work of ALTA’s committees. He collaborates with the Communications Department to distribute up-to-date data and statistics about the air industry in Latin America and the Caribbean. Between his periods at ALTA, Juan spent two years at Airports Council International (ACI), supporting their Economics and Statistics Department. He is based in Bogota.
