Mylène Scholnick

Mylène Scholnick is a global aviation and aerospace executive with over 25 years of experience leading and advising organizations across commercial strategy, aviation finance, and large-scale operational and assets transformation. She brings deep expertise in capital allocation, procurement strategy, and governance, with a strong track record of supporting growth, managing risk, and guiding complex strategic decisions across international markets.  

Currently a full time Senior Advisor to leasing company World Star Aviation focused on originating large scale transactions, Mylène most recently served as Head of Global Fleet Management at Amazon Air, where she oversaw a global fleet of more than 100 aircraft across North America, Europe, and Asia. In this role, she managed assets valued at approximately $1.8 billion, led $3.5 billion in transactions, and oversaw an annual aircraft budget of $2 billion. She played a central role in negotiating multi-billion-dollar OEM agreements, advancing fleet modernization initiatives, and aligning long-term investment strategy with operational and commercial objectives. 

Her earlier career includes senior leadership roles in aviation consulting and investment banking, where she executed over $3 billion in structured finance transactions and advised leading airlines, lessors, and financial institutions on portfolio strategy, capital markets, and asset optimization.  

Mylène serves on the board of ISTAT (the International Society for Transport Aircraft Trading), where she has chaired ISTAT Americas conferences, and leads key committees focused on membership and governance. She also serves on the Advisory Board of Natilus, supporting the commercialization of next-generation blended-wing-body aircraft designed to improve fuel efficiency, payload capacity, and operating economics. She is also a past President and advisory board member of IAWA (the International Aerospace Womens Association). Her board contributions focus on strategic growth, risk oversight, and organizational transformation.   

She is recognized for her ability to navigate complex global environments, provide independent strategic perspective, and support executive leadership teams through periods of growth and transformation.   

Mylène holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration from IEP Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po, Paris).
