Vice President of Airline Strategy & Analysis
Shelley Raina holds the position of Vice President, Airline Strategy & Analysis with Avolon since 2021. As a member of the global Commercial team, she is responsible for aircraft marketing activities supporting the placement of passenger and freighter aircraft with airlines worldwide. In addition, Shelley Raina is responsible for Avolon’s freighter business development, specifically the aircraft marketing of the A330-300BDSF, for which Avolon is the strategic launch customer in partnership with IAI (Israel Aerospace Industries).
Shelley Raina has 18 years of aviation experience spanning commercial and engineering functions within the OEM and leasing spheres. Prior to joining Avolon, she held various roles over a 15-year career with Airbus in Toulouse, France and Hamburg, Germany. Notably, she was part of Airbus’ Aircraft Sales & Marketing team, contributing to sales campaigns for both passenger and freighter aircraft.
Shelley Raina hails from Vancouver, Canada. She holds a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Dynamics from Cranfield University (United Kingdom) and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering from Carleton University (Canada).
