Tyler-Blair Sheppard leads the marketing team for the GE9X engine at GE Aerospace. He has held a variety of commercial, sales, and marketing roles at GE Aerospace and has transacted more than $750 million in new engine and services campaigns.

Before joining GE, he worked for the solar energy startup Off.Grid:Electric (now ZOLA Electric), where he led the development of a boutique software suite controlling logistics and supply chains for customer installations in rural Tanzania, and helped found an agricultural export business in Rwanda. Mr. Sheppard began his career with NASA at the Johnson Space Center as an Environmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLSS) flight controller and instructor for the International Space Station, supporting 4 of the last 5 Space Shuttle missions and training numerous astronaut crew members.

Mr. Sheppard is a recipient of a Shell Foundation Fellowship for social entrepreneurship and holds an MBA from the University of Oxford, as well as a MSc in Mechanical Engineering and dual B.Sc in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University.
