Dr. Pierric Appert leads Startup Investments and New Cargo Ventures at the Lufthansa Innovation Hub, the Lufthansa Group’s venture studio, venture clienting unit, and startup investment arm. Previously, he worked as an Investment Manager in Venture Capital, specializing in early-stage B2B SaaS startups in logistics and supply chain across Europe. Dr. Appert has a background in engineering and innovation management and earned his PhD in Strategy, focusing on Innovation Ecosystems and Digital Platforms, from the University of Glasgow in 2022.
