Turkish Airlines’ Cerrah joins Cargo Facts Routes and Airports 2026
Oguzhan Cerrah, vice president of cargo network planning and development at Turkish Airlines, will join the inaugural Cargo Facts Routes and Airport Conference for a presentation on “Profitability under pressure: Route economics in uncertain markets” on Monday, April 27, at 14:40 (GMT +2).
The first Cargo Facts Routes and Airports Conference will take place at the Marriott Grand Place in Brussels, bringing together industry decision-makers, global executives and leaders to analyze cargo-specific route development processes, the global factors shaping network changes and the role airports play in route optimization.
Cerrah became VP at Turkish in August 2024. Other roles he has filled at the carrier include regional director for South America and regional sales manager for the Americas.
Key topics he will highlight during his presentation include:
- Evaluating cost-per-flight-hour metrics and other benchmarks for better network decisions;
- Managing volatile fuel and maintenance costs across the full route network; and
- Diversification and long-term contracts to foster business stability.
