ST Engineering will deliver its second A320-200P2F conversion (2724, ex-Orange2Fly) to Vaayu Group through Juniper Aviation Investments, the 50-50 leasing company joint venture ST Engineering formed with Temasek. The conversion and lease of unit 2724 is part of a deal with Vaayu Group to lease five A320P2Fs from Juniper, and unit 2724 will join Egypt-based Sky Vision on sublease.

The Singapore-based lessor placed its youngest A321-200P2F on lease with MNG Airlines in October 2023 and recently took redelivery of the first A321P2F conversion at the Haite Tianjin facility.

“Overall, I feel that A321F demand is still there,” Tan told Cargo Facts in October 2023. “The owners and lessors are preparing themselves for this market, and essentially, I feel that the 757 freighter is the impetus for this move because there are more than 100 757s today that are more than thirty years old. So, it’s about time for them to get some kind of replacement.”

Cargo Facts Asia will assemble industry leaders and executives to share their insights on the air cargo sector in the Asia-Pacific region while providing attendees a forum to engage with key decision-makers.
