Challenge Group’s Zak joins Cargo Facts LATAM 2026

Or Zak, chief commercial officer of Challenge Group, will join Cargo Facts LATAM for the panel discussion “Expanding widebody freighter capacity in Latin America” on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 9:15 a.m. (GMT-6).

The fourth annual Cargo Facts LATAM conference will take place Feb. 10-12 at the Marquis Reforma in Mexico City, assembling decision-makers, global executives and leaders to share insights and analyze the latest market trends, air cargo developments and their potential impact in Latin America.

Zak has been the chief commercial officer of Challenge Group since April 2023. He has fifteen years of executive management experience in aviation, including as commercial vice president for Challenge Group and deputy manager and managing director for Global Airline Services.

Challenge will become the next 777-300ERSF operator when it takes delivery of its first Big Twin freighter on lease from AerCap this month.

The airline later this year will also take redelivery of its own Big Twin that it sent to IAI in April 2025 for conversion.

Challenge reached an agreement with IAI for four conversion slots in 2021.

The airline’s five production 747-400Fs, one 747-400BCF and four 767-300BDSFs are dispersed across its three AOCs in Malta, Belgium and Israel.
