Adriaan den Heijer

Adriaan den Heijer (1969) holds an MSc degree in Industrial Engineering & Management Science from the University of Eindhoven (1994). He subsequently earned a postdoctoral degree in Financial Management from Amsterdam University (2000) and has completed various executive educational programs. Adriaan joined KLM Cargo in 1995 and worked in a variety of international commercial and operational cargo management positions. In 2004, he relocated to Hong Kong to assume the role of General Manager of KLM Passenger Business for Greater China. He then transitioned to the position of Vice President Pricing & Revenue Management Europe KLM Passenger in 2007 before becoming Vice President of KLM Passenger Marketing & Brand in 2009. From 2011 to 2016, he led the ground operations of KLM as the Senior Vice President of KLM Ground Services. Subsequently, Adriaan served as Senior Vice President of Pricing & Revenue Management for the Air France-KLM Passenger Business and as a member of the Air France-KLM Passenger Executive Team. In 2020, Adriaan was appointed as the Executive Vice President of Air France KLM Cargo, assuming responsibility for joint activities to maximize the global cargo business. He also became a member of the Air France KLM Group Executive Committee. Adriaan also serves as the managing director at Martinair Holland N.V.
