Antonio López Ramírez

Commercial & Services Director
Felipe Ángeles International Airport

He has been the Commercial and Services Director of the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) since December 2023. 

He is a military pilot, holds a bachelor’s degree in military administration, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Public Policy from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM). He has extensive experience in federal public administration and aeronautical operations, as well as in administrative and operational management within units of the Mexican Air Force, where he served as a pilot from 2004 to 2019. 

Prior to his current role, he was Deputy Director of Aviation Security at AIFA, the first person to hold that position. In that capacity, he coordinated the design, implementation, and launch of the airport’s comprehensive aviation security structure, directly participating in preparations for its operational launch in accordance with national and international AVSEC standards. 

In his current role as Commercial and Services Director, he is responsible for the planning, coordination, and operation of AIFA’s commercial, airport, and complementary services, with an emphasis on strengthening operational capacity, process efficiency, airport revenue generation, and the development of strategic projects related to passenger traffic growth and air cargo processing, particularly in foreign trade operations. 

He has participated in working groups and inter-institutional coordination forums, both nationally and internationally, related to airport management, infrastructure development, air cargo operations, and the continuous improvement of airport services.
