Tan Boon Keng oversees the Aircraft Leasing business of Aviation Asset Management for ST Engineering. He manages a portfolio of aircraft including passenger and freighter aircraft that is backed by the Group’s engineering and technical expertise to provide investors and airlines with end-to-end lifecycle asset management solutions.  

Boon Keng is an executive with more than 20 years of professional and managerial experience in Aviation Leasing, Merger & Acquisition, Business Development, Aviation MRO, and Design Engineering. He was instrumental in setting up ST Engineering’s passenger and freighter aircraft leasing joint ventures, as well as leading feedstock acquisition and securing the launch operator for the world’s first A320 Passenger-to-Freighter aircraft converted by the Group.  

He holds both Bachelors (First Class Honours) and master’s in mechanical engineering from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and has a master’s degree in aerospace engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace in France.
