Eshel stands as a pivotal figure in the aviation industry, holding the esteemed position of Co-Founder Challenge Group and CEO of Challenge Airlines (BE), boasting an impressive career that spans nearly four decades, Renowned for his exceptional management and aviation business understanding, he brings a profound understanding of operational, safety, and compliance matters to his role. A private investor in a variety of businesses, mainly in assets and businesses related to the aviation in the areas of air cargo transportation and operating Freighters.

Eshel’s leadership journey at Challenge Group commenced at 1999, At 2016 he founded the aircraft lease business of Challenge group and in 2017 he founded international activity of Challenge Group (Malta) together with Offer Gilboa (Controlling shareholder of the group), also at 2017 he founded Challenge Airlines (BE) at Belgium, where his strategic vision and industry acumen have been instrumental. Prior to this, he is significantly contributed to Challenge Group, serving as Fleet Manager and as Vice-President of Flight Operations. His tenure at the Group also included several management roles, and as many years Commander of wide body Freighters and commercial jets.

Eshel’s holds two academic degrees:

• Executive M.B.A. in Business Management, Management, Tel Aviv University, Economics and Business Management Faculty.
• B.Sc in Engineering and Management, Tel Aviv University, Engineering Faculty.
