Gilbert joined EFW in 1992 and, after several assignments at Airbus, he was part of the team transferring the freighter conversion business from Airbus Hamburg to Dresden in 1995. In 2000 he became Program Manager for the launch of the A310-300 conversions. After several management positions in Project Management, Procurement & Logistics, Production & Planning and Sales, Gilbert is now within the Sales & Marketing team responsible for P2F conversions sales.
