Greg Mays is President and Chief Executive Officer of Air Transport Services Group (ATSG), a global aviation services company providing aircraft leasing, air cargo operations, maintenance, and logistics solutions. ATSG is owned by Stonepeak, a leading global infrastructure investment firm. Greg joined ATSG to lead the company through its next phase of transformation and growth under private-equity ownership.

Prior to ATSG, Greg served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Sun Country Airlines, where he helped lead a significant transformation of the business, including rapid growth, strong operational and financial performance, and the company’s successful 2021 IPO.

Earlier in his career, Greg held senior leadership roles at Alaska Airlines and Delta Air Lines, with responsibilities spanning technical operations, labor relations, cargo, airport operations, and maintenance. He began his career as an aerospace engineer with Boeing supporting the International Space Station program.

Greg holds an MBA from Emory University and a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Alabama. He serves on several University of Alabama engineering advisory boards and is a College of Engineering Distinguished Fellow.
