Jaime is the Senior Executive for Cargo and Courier at Copa Airlines, a Panamanian Airline that offers direct flights to 80 destinations on 31 countries in North, Central and South America and the Caribbean from its connection center at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, Republic of Panama.

Alvarez Price started his carrier in aviation at Copa Airlines in 1997. Under his leadership, Copa Airlines Cargo establishes itself as one of the principal options for air cargo transport in Latin America.    During his management, Copa Airlines Cargo grows and successfully develops at the Hub of the Americas a transshipment center of air cargo for the entire region.    Additionally, he is responsible for the successful introduction of Copa Courier, an express, door to door service for documents and small packages.    Copa Courier becomes the first real Latin America option for courier service with a global scope and regional advantage base on Copa’s extensive penetration in the region.

Before working at Copa, Jaime worked many years for Chiquita Banana, where he started his professional career here in Panamá, then in Asia, USA, Colombia and finally in the Caribbean. He is a graduate of Industrial Engineering from Louisiana State University and holds an MBA from INCAE.
