Mr. John Bernardi has had successful career with global freight forwarders and all cargo airlines in Latin America for the past 30 years.   Starting with German freight forwarder in Miami, Mr. Bernardi then joined Southern Air Transport operating B747-200 and DC8-70 series converted freighters to all major traffic points in Latin America.  He subsequently established Atlas Air in Miami (during high growth phase) to eventually grown to dozen freighters based, operating, and maintained in Miami.   Mr. Bernardi was instrumental in obtaining the business and required scheduled (and charter) all cargo traffic rights in all major countries in Latin America.  After assignment with IATA global headquarters in Montreal, Mr. Bernardi worked for DHL Global Forwarding (Americas Region) in the Aviation/Airlines/Aerospace industry vertical.   In 2016, he joined Nippon Express USA to overhaul and further develop Nippon Express (worldwide) market presence in Latin America, working with agent partners in key countries, and also supporting Nippon Express with both combination/freighter airlines and ocean carriers.   Mr. Bernardi is a graduate of University of Miami and Nova Southeastern University with Masters degrees in Government/Public Administration and International Business Administration and is based in Miami.
