John MacLennan is currently serving as Managing Director, Belgium and Supervisor, Global Key Accounts at Silk Way West Airlines. He is proud to have contributed to the airline’s growth for over 12 years, holding diverse leadership roles across countries.

His journey began in 2014 as Sales Manager and Logistics Coordinator in Dubai after completing his Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies at Tufts University and the U.S. Marine Corps’ Officer Candidate School. He is currently pursuing his Global Executive MBA at IE Business School.

Over the years, John has progressed through key positions. While based in Dubai, he oversaw defense contracts in Afghanistan, and established rotor-wing operations to support remote Forward Operating Bases. He later advanced to the position of Sales Manager in Istanbul. While there, he joined the Global Key Accounts team, managing annual contracts, scheduled charter programs, and major product releases with clients including Apple, Samsung, and Sony, before assuming his current role as Managing Director for Belgium.
