Head of Asset Management
SmartLynx Airlines

Laura Ivaskaite was appointed as Head of Asset Management for Smartlynx Airlines in 2023 and is overseeing all aircraft and engine trading, capital markets activities, as well as A321F cargo conversion programme. Across 2021 and 2022, Smartlynx fleet management team added almost 40 aircraft into the fleet and ran various complex initiatives, including introduction of Boeing 737 8 MAX type, A321F sale leasebacks and acquisitions of various green time assets. Laura holds a Master’s degree from King’s College London and is based in Riga, Latvia.
