Mark Jason Thomas (Jason) is the Chief Executive Officer of MAB Kargo, a fully owned subsidiary of the Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), a position he has held since June 2022. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Jason served as the Chief Commercial Officer of MAB Kargo from 2018. 

Jason holds a master’s degree in supply chain management and brings over 20 years of experience across various leadership roles in international forwarding companies. In the cargo airline sector, he has developed a strong business acumen with expertise in revenue management, freighter operations, network planning, and ground handling. 

Jason’s career in the logistics industry began at the grassroots level as an Operations Executive with a multinational company. Before joining MAB Kargo, he was the Commercial Director of a regional freight operator. Over the years, Jason has cultivated a robust global network with key industry players, consistently motivating his team to meet customer needs and exceed stakeholder expectations. He has also been instrumental in formulating and executing sales strategies, driving the achievement of both set expectations and revenue targets.  

Under his leadership, MAB Kargo has grown into a multiple award-winning carrier and one of Southeast Asia’s leading air logistics providers. With a strong hub at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, the company connects Malaysia to key global trade lanes across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and beyond. MAB Kargo is also recognized for its specialized handling facilities, including a GDP-compliant Pharma Zone, a world-class Animal Hotel, and secure solutions for perishable and valuable cargo. Jason continues to drive strategic collaborations that position MAB Kargo as a preferred regional hub supporting trade, e-commerce, and Malaysia’s economic growth.
