Marvin was appointed as Senior Vice President of Cargo on 1 June 2023. He heads the airline’s Cargo division and oversees areas such as digital and e-commerce, operations and services, planning and development, and sales and marketing. Joining Singapore Airlines in 1996, Marvin has served in numerous roles across the Singapore Airlines Group both in Singapore and overseas. Before he was appointed Senior Vice President of Cargo, he was Senior Vice President of Customer Services and Operations, looking after airport operations, customer affairs, customer contact services and ground experience development, and Senior Vice President Cabin Crew. Marvin has also served as Chief Executive SilkAir (on secondment to Singapore Airlines’ then regional subsidiary), General Manager for the UK and Ireland, General Manager for Vietnam and in other overseas roles in Japan and Taiwan. Marvin was a Board Director for Virgin Australia Holdings Ltd and Scoot Pte Ltd and is currently on the board of KrisShop Pte Ltd. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Stanford University.
