Neil Wilson has been the Editor of TAC Index since June 2022, the leading global price reporting agency (PRA) on air freight rates and calculating agent for the Baltic Air Freight (BAI) Indices, providing independent, accurate, and actionable data on the market. He produces a weekly news update and monthly blog on the trends TAC is identifying in air freight pricing.  

Neil is also one of the most experienced commentators in the world on hedge funds, derivatives, and alternative investments. In previous years, from 2001 to 2014 Neil was Managing Editor of Hedge Fund Intelligence, responsible for editorial content across a range of five titles.  

He has more than 30 years of experience in financial journalism and publishing, specializing mainly in derivatives and alternative investments. He has also contributed to various other publications including The Financial Times, The Economist, and Risk magazine. He has been a speaker at events over many years. 

Neil has a B.A. with Honours in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford.
