Patrick Buckles is Head of Sales at BETA Technologies, a Vermont-based aerospace company developing electric aircraft with a focus on both passenger and cargo and logistics missions. In this role, Patrick is responsible for leading the BETA’s commercial sales activities and strategy, globally. He manages new aircraft sales and works with existing and potential customers to realize the benefit of our aircraft to help improve their bottom line and reduce their carbon footprint. The company has already secured firm orders and commitments from partnered with leading operators across the logistics, medical, defense, and passenger sectors, including UPS, Bristow Group, United Therapeutics, the U.S. Air Force, and Blade, among others. BETA’s aircraft and integrated charging infrastructure will ultimately create an electric aviation solution to move people and cargo around the world safely, cost-effectively and with minimal environmental impact.Prior to this post, Patrick held a variety of leadership roles at Hawker Beechcraft and Textron Aviation in engineering and sales.  In these roles, he was part of bringing seven new aircraft to market and oversaw more $8 billion in sales. He has a degree in aerospace engineering from Wichita State University.
