Paul Sawhny is the Senior Vice President of Fleet Planning and Asset Management at Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings. In this role, Paul has responsibility for all aircraft and engine transactions including off wing engine management. Paul was a member of the Atlas startup team in 1992 and served as Vice President Technical Operations for Atlas Air till 2001 at which point he established his own advisory business where he led freighter management and remarketing services with several lessors and financial institutions.

Prior to Atlas, he worked at Pan Am and thereafter went on to serve Tower Air in an advisory capacity reporting to CEO on airline operations.

Mr. Sawhny earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from NYU  School of Engineering. In addition, he has a MBA from Columbia Business School.
