Peter Penseel joined Delta in 2024 as President – Delta Cargo. In this role, he is responsible for leading the Cargo Commercial division with a focus on driving revenue and profitable growth, delivering industry-leading customer service and ensuring operational excellence within Delta’s Cargo business.

Peter has more than three decades of experience in various roles across the air cargo, freight forwarding and logistics sectors. Prior to joining Delta, he served as the Chief Operating Officer –Airfreight at CEVA Logistics, and in 2021 he was named Cargo Executive of the Year by Air Cargo World. He also held several other senior leadership positions at Qatar Airways Cargo, DHL Global Forwarding and UTi Worldwide. Peter serves as a member of the Supervisory Board of Maastricht Aachen Airport in the Netherlands.

Beyond the boardroom, Penseel finds solace in the embrace of his family, cherishing moments spent with loved ones. An avid sports enthusiast, he revels in the intricacies of baseball and golf, while his passion for travel echoes the global perspective he brings to his professional endeavors, solidifying his status as a visionary leader in the ever-evolving landscape of air cargo.
