Ryan Goepel is the President and Chief Financial Officer of Global Crossing Airlines (“GlobalX”). Having been involved since the first day of the airline in early 2020, Ryan guided all aspects of the launch, fundraising, IPO and growth of GlobalX which currently operates 18 Airbus family aircraft in both the passenger and cargo markets. Before joining GlobalX, Ryan was the Chief Financial Officer of Flair Airlines, a Canadian low-cost carrier, transitioning the airline from a charter-based business model to a profitable schedule-service passenger model flying Boeing aircraft.

Before entering the aviation industry, Ryan was the Chief Financial Officer of several start-up companies, including Zietecs, an oilfield services technology company that was successfully sold to Schlumberger.  Ryan also held the roles of Business Unit Controller at Kellogg, Brown, and Root, Director of Global Finance at Burger King Corporation, and Strategic Marketing Manager/Investor Relations at Halliburton.

Ryan has a Masters in Business Administration from Texas A&M University, Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia and obtained a certification for The Emerging COO: Driving Innovation and Operational Excellence from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He is also a Certified Management Accountant.
