Ms. Rothschild joined AVITAS in 2003 as an economist working on forecasting models and aviation market analysis. She subsequently expanded her work into appraisals of aviation assets, including aircraft, engines, simulators, and spare parts, and has since become an ISTAT Certified Appraiser. Ms. Rothschild continues to prepare market analyses and is also responsible for economic and statistical analyses, aviation market forecasts, customer market studies, and regular industry briefings. Teresa has contributed to the creation and maintenance of AVITAS modeling systems and helped develop significant upgrades to the AVITAS Scenario Analysis and Value Index (SAVI).
Ms. Rothschild has a B.S. in Economics, with a minor in mathematics, and an M.S. in Economics with a specialization in quantitative methods, both completed at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. She also completed two years in the PhD program for economics at Oklahoma State University. Teresa’s past work experience includes serving as a teaching assistant at OSU, as an adjunct professor at Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma, and as an economics instructor at Limestone College in Charleston, South Carolina. She also worked as an economic analyst for Southwestern Bell in St. Louis, Missouri.
