Zygimantas Surintas is CEO and board member of SmartLynx Airlines, the leading EU based ACMI, charter, and cargo provider on AIRBUS A320, A321, A321F and A330 aircraft. Recognised as one of the top choices for aircraft lease solutions, SmartLynx is supporting leading airlines with short and long-term ACMI services and ensures full charter operations in home markets – Latvia and Estonia, as well as full charters for TUI Deutschland from summer 2021. 

Since being appointed as head of SmartLynx in June 2016, Mr Surintas is successfully guiding the company through its strategic growth and expansion. In 2020, SmartLynx entered the air cargo transportation market by adding Airbus A321-200 freighter aircraft to its fleet – the most technologically advanced and environmentally efficient aircraft in its class. In addition, the airline’s A330 Zero LOPA units are supporting clients with requests for long-haul air cargo transportation. 

Prior to stepping into the world of aviation, Mr Surintas has been serving as CCO, CSO and board member in various companies in Lithuania, which later expanded to the international level.
