With over 35 years in the passenger freighter conversions industry, Bill Tarpley brings abundant aviation knowledge and leadership to Mammoth Freighters as CEO since its inception in 2020. Bill worked for 20 years at Boeing as a Design Engineer and a Program Manager converting every model of jet aircraft built by Boeing or McDonnell Douglas at the time. He was the Program Manager for the development and certification of the MD-10 P2F and 767 passenger to freighter conversion programs and delivered over 45 aircraft to Fedex between DC-10, MD-10, and MD-11 conversions. Bill later became Founder and President of Creative Conversion Management, LLC managing conversions of 767s and 757s. Prior to that, Bill was COO for eight years with ATSG’s Cargo Aircraft Management, LLC managing the acquisition, conversion, and leasing of 767F and 757F aircraft.
