Skyway’s Peralta joins Cargo Facts Asia 2026
Jose Peralta, founder of Skyway Airlines, will join Cargo Facts Asia 2026 for the panel discussion “Evaluating narrowbody freighter demand in the Asia-Pacific region” on Tuesday, March 24, at 13:30 (UTC +8).
The 14th annual Cargo Facts Asia conference will take place March 23-25 at the W Shanghai, bringing together decision-makers, global executives and leaders to analyze the latest market trends, air cargo developments and their potential impact in Asia.
Peralta launched Skyway Airlines in 2022 and the startup obtained its AOC from the Civilian Aviation Authority of the Philippines in 2024. In addition to serving as chief executive of the airline, he also launched Philippines-based finance firm Broad Street Private Credit in 2020.
Skyway completed its first flight to China on Feb. 12, flying to Guangzhou (CAN) from Clark, Philippines (CRK), after securing CCAR-129 approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China to begin scheduled service as a foreign air carrier.
The airline launched operations with its 1998-vintage 737-400BDSF (29208) on lease from AerCap.
Skyway doubled its freighter fleet in October 2025, when it leased a 1994-vintage 737-400BDSF (27256) from World Star Aviation. Unit 27256 is a part of a deal with the lessor for two 737-400 freighters.
The second aircraft (25773) is undergoing acceptance in Ireland and will be delivered in April, the carrier previously told Cargo Facts.
Peralta will join three narrowbody freighter executives:
- Ahmad Luqman Mohd Azmi, CEO of MJets Air;
- Li Bin, president of Tianjin Air Cargo; and
- Mark Sutch, chief commercial officer of cargo for IndiGo Airlines.
The industry leaders will discuss:
- The proliferation of 737-800Fs across new and established operators;
- Keeping 737 Classics flying; and
- Implications of the growing footprint of A320 and A321 freighters.
Cargo Facts will present four invaluable events for airfreight professionals in 2026, the next of which is Cargo Facts Asia on March 23-25. To see the agendas and register for the events, visit CargoFactsEvents.com.
