Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) continues to expand its medium-widebody freighter portfolio and is the largest lessor of 767-300 and -200 freighters through its subsidiary, Cargo Aircraft Management (CAM).

CAM announced in May that it will place fourteen 767Fs with existing and new customers by yearend. It already had secured lessees for almost all of the thirty-four 767-300BCF and -300BDSF conversion slots through the end of 2024, it said.

ATSG is expanding its freighter portfolio to include A330P2Fs and A321PCFs. Some A330P2Fs will be leased to DHL after the company agreed to extend its existing deal with the express integrator in 2022. Meanwhile, the first fully converted A321PCF, a 2002-vintage aircraft (1972, ex-Thomas Cook Airlines) was unveiled in the livery of Malaysia-based Raya Airways last month.

Corrado was appointed chief commercial officer of ATSG in 2010 before his promotion to CEO in September 2017. Prior to joining ATSG, he served as president of Transform Consulting Group from 2006 to 2010 and was the only executive from Airborne Express to remain with DHL after that acquisition was completed in 2003.

Cargo Facts Symposium, taking place Oct. 25-27 at the Omni San Diego, is the essential event for stakeholders in the freighter and air cargo industry.
