Cargo Facts LATAM 2024 panel to discuss trade trends in the Americas
Cargo Facts is pleased to announce that Cargo Facts LATAM 2024 will be the host for a panel discussion on trade trends in the Americas that includes Gloria Morales, director and founder of Supply and Global Management Consulting; Demostenes Perez, chief commercial officer and co-founder of IPL Group; and Eddie Tapiero, economic adviser to the National Presidency of Panama.
The second annual Cargo Facts LATAM takes place May 13-15 at the Hilton Panama in Panama City, where industry leaders will gather to share their outlook on the air cargo sector in Latin America. The panel will be on Wednesday, May 15, at 10:10 (UTC -5).

Juan Sarmiento, head of economics and statistics at the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association, will moderate the trade trends panel discussion at the event.
Morales is the founder and director of Supply and Global Management, an international trade-management firm that specializes in foreign imports and exports, customs and trade agreement negotiations. She also serves as external manager of the ZAL project, an integrated logistics zone under construction at the Port of Balboa in Panama.
Perez is a seasoned supply chain executive with IPL Group, a Panama-based logistics company, which started in 1995 as a boutique third-party logistics provider for global distributors, manufacturers and retailers, and provides management and distribution for foreign trade throughout the region. He has more than twenty years of experience in regional warehousing, fulfillment, distribution services, light assembly and manufacturing.
Tapiero is an international economist who is serving as an adviser to the Government of Panama while performing the role of competitive intelligence specialist for the Panama Canal Authority. He has been an adviser at such global companies as S&P, IHS Global Insight, Unilever and Citibank and is the president of the Panama Logistics Council Commission for research on international logistics.
Cargo Facts LATAM will provide attendees a forum to engage with key decision-makers in the air cargo market in the Latin American region.
