Jetstream Aviation Capital, the largest lessor of Saab 340 freighter and passenger aircraft, added eleven ATR 72-600s to its portfolio in the first quarter of 2023.
The lessor told Cargo Facts that ATRs, Caravans and hybrid-electric Caravans will eventually make up the majority of its longer-term portfolio investments but it will continue to place its Saab 340 freighters on lease.
Jetstream is also the launch customer of the Saab 2000 freighter program, which is set to receive certification by yearend.
Kamenz has more than twenty years in the commercial airline industry, mostly in regional aircraft operations. Before joining the Jetstream Aviation Capital team, he served as vice president of sales with Mitsubishi Aircraft, senior vice president of aircraft sales with C&L Aviation, vice president of sales for Commercial Jet in Miami, and as co-founder and chief commercial officer of AvCraft Technical Services.
