Donald Kamenz

Donald Kamenz is an experienced aviation professional whose career encompasses more than twenty years in the commercial aviation sector, with a principal focus on the regional aircraft vertical. His experience includes new-build and secondary-use sales and marketing of regional commercial aircraft, executive management and business development in the commercial MRO sector, and aircraft design and engineering. He is responsible for the global business development of Jetstream’s aircraft and engine leasing, sales, and support programs and is based in our Miami office. 

He was most recently with Mitsubishi Aircraft as Vice President, Sales with the MRJ / SpaceJet aircraft development program, during which time he was directly responsible for placement agreements with several major US and Canadian air carriers and a lessor within the Americas. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of Aircraft Sales with C&L Aviation in Bangor, Maine where he led brokerage, management, and advisory services to regional aircraft clients. Prior, he served in executive capacities with three large-scale aircraft maintenance organizations; as Vice President, Sales for Commercial Jet of Miami, as co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer of AvCraft Technical Services in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Vice President, Marketing and Sales with ExelTech Aerospace of Montreal. 

Early in his career, he served in numerous roles of increasing responsibility within the regional aircraft manufacturing sector, including Vice President, Airline Sales and Marketing with Saab Aircraft Leasing; Manager, Sales Engineering with Dornier Aviation of North America; Airline Analyst with Boeing Canada / De Havilland Division; and Aerodynamic Software Engineer with CAE Electronics. 

Donald earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from Concordia University in Quebec, Canada and a master’s in international Transactions from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. He holds an FAA Private Pilot’s license.
