Tim has 30 years’ experience covering the aviation industry in Asia-Pacific, including 18 years on the sell side as a senior equity research analyst. Tim is the Managing Director for APACE – Asia-Pacific Aviation Consulting Enterprise since its founding in 2016 and a Senior Advisor with Asia Aviation Valuation Advisors. Tim was also recently the Senior Industry
Analyst for Bloomberg Intelligence covering Asia-Pacific aviation including airlines and aircraft lessors. Prior to that, Tim was a member of PwC’s regional aviation team, arranging and advising aircraft financing and trading transactions. He served two years as SVP Risk Management with CDB Aviation and was on Deutsche Bank’s regional aviation asset finance
team where he was responsible for Asian airline coverage and debt origination. Before that, he had a long career covering the Asia-Pacific aviation, transportation and infrastructure industries for China Construction Bank, Macquarie, and Lehman Brothers. Tim was also a member of Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank’s ranked transport teams in the 1990s and early 2000s. Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University in New York and is a CFA charterholder.
