An emerging market for the air cargo industry, Latin America is home to a growing number of startups entering the space with their own metal, such as Mexico-based Awesome Cargo and Brazil-based Braspress. Established carriers Aerolineas Argentinas and Brazil-based GOL and Modern Logistics have brought 737-800 freighters to the region, while Chile-based LATAM and Colombia-based Avianca continue to renew their medium-widebody freighter fleets.

Panama itself is home to Copa Airlines, DHL Aero Expreso, Uniworld Air Cargo and Cargo Three.

Prior to the event, Cargo Facts Consulting will host a freighter strategy workshop and share market trends and developments with stakeholders, providing attendees with CFC data analysis tools and actionable insight.

In addition to the workshop, Cargo Facts LATAM 2024 will include the following:

  • A panel on the state and outlook for the region’s freighter market;
  • A panel discussion on fleet modernization;
  • A presentation on airport developments in cargo;
  • A panel on the feasibility of sustainability in Latin America; and
  • Roundtable discussions.

Cargo Facts LATAM offers stakeholders a platform to absorb current market intelligence and engage with those leading the industry while forming relationships that will expand global networks, solidify partnerships and strengthen the brand of new and existing companies.
