Modern Logistics recently took delivery of its second 737-800BCF (33550, ex-Ryanair) on lease from San Francisco-based BBAM. The aircraft arrived at Foz do Iguacu (IGU) airport in Brazil on Feb. 22 to clear customs.

The Brazil-based logistics company took delivery of its first next-generation narrowbody freighter in the fourth quarter of 2023 and expects the aircraft to enter service this month.

“We have very ambitious and aggressive plans to go overseas with our new aircraft, and to keep investing in those sectors that we believe add value to our proposition,” Koga told Cargo Facts in January.

Koga was vice president and managing director at FedEx Express and FedEx Logistics before joining Modern in May 2023. He was previously regional director of South America for Penske Logistics and chief customer officer at Panalpina.

Cargo Facts LATAM will provide attendees a forum to engage with key decision-makers in the air cargo market in the Latin American region.
