Amerijet Chief Executive Joe Mozzali will join Cargo Facts Symposium 2024 for the panel discussion “Freighters & the future of air logistics” at the Omni Hotel in San Diego on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 9:15 a.m. PDT (GMT -5).

Mozzali assumed the role of chief executive at Amerijet in October 2023. He joined the carrier in January 2023, serving as chief financial officer for eleven months before moving into the top job. He previously served as CFO for UPS and has more than fifteen years of executive management experience in the air cargo industry.

Amerijet reduced its dedicated freighter fleet to a single type when it removed its 757-200Fs from service in the first quarter of 2024 to cut costs.

With its 767 freighter-only fleet, Amerijet began providing lift capacity to Colombia with more than 200 flights completed this year, Mozzali previously told Cargo Facts. The carrier will be able to maximize efficiency with one freighter type while carrying more payload over longer distances, he said.
