Tianjin Air Cargo President Li joins Cargo Facts Asia 2026

Tianjin Air Cargo President Li Bin will join Cargo Facts Asia 2026 for the panel discussion “Evaluating narrowbody freighter demand in the Asia-Pacific region” on Tuesday, March 24, at 13:30 (UTC +8).

The fourteenth annual Cargo Facts Asia conference will take place March 23-25 at the W Shanghai, bringing together decision-makers, global executives and leaders to analyze the latest market trends, air cargo developments and their potential impact in Asia.

An HNA Aviation Group subsidiary, Tianjin Air Cargo’s second 737-800SF (32603, ex-Shan Xi Airlines) began conversion with AEI at HNA’s MRO affiliate Grand China Aviation Maintenance (GCAM) facility in Haikou (HAK) on Jan. 5.

Tianjin started operating its first 737-800SF in November 2024. That 2006-vintage aircraft (34707, ex-Hainan Airlines) was also converted at GCAM.

The carrier operates six other 737NG freighters:

  • One 737-800BCF on lease from Icelease;
  • Three 737-800BCFs on lease from AerCap;
  • One 737-800BCF on lease from Spectre Air Capital; and
  • One 737-700BDSF also on lease from Spectre.

Li will join the following industry leaders on the panel:

The panel discussion will address:

  • The proliferation of 737-800Fs across new and established operators;
  • Keeping 737 Classics flying; and
  • Implications of the growing footprint of A320 and A321 freighters.
