Levu Air Cargo received its AOC from the Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency on Nov. 7 after completing certification flights with a 1998-vintage A321-200PCF (775) it subleased from Latvia-based SmartLynx. Levu is flying the aircraft domestically for DHL.
Pacheco was previously CEO at Brazilian startup Connect Cargo before that carrier stopped flying in early 2020.
When it takes delivery of an A321-200P2F on lease from BBAM, Levu will operate A321Fs converted by both EFW and 321 Precision Conversions.
The carrier also told Cargo Facts that it plans to enter the widebody segment at the end of 2025 when it adds the first of two A330Fs to its fleet.
