Embraer’s Freighter VP Neely joins Cargo Facts Symposium 2024
Mark Neely, vice president of freighters at Embraer, will join Cargo Facts Symposium 2024 for the panel discussion “Shifting market share in the medium-widebody and narrowbody segments” at the Omni Hotel in San Diego on Tuesday, Oct. 15, at 11:45 a.m. PDT (GMT -5).
Cargo Facts Symposium, which takes place this year Oct. 14-16 at the Omni, has been the premiere event for the freighter aircraft industry for three decades. The event gathers leaders to share their insights with stakeholders and attendees, providing in-depth analysis of the air cargo sector and enabling participants to expand their network with respected executives and decision-makers.

Neely previously served for twelve years as regional vice president of sales in North America with Embraer. He was appointed vice president of freighters in 2023, bringing eighteen years of industry experience, including roles with British Aerospace, Fairchild-Dornier, ATR and Continental Airlines.
Embraer announced at the Farnborough International Airshow in England last week that it had obtained certification from Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency for its E190F conversion program. The Brazilian plane manufacturer expects to receive FAA and EASA certification for the new freighter program later this year.
U.S. Cargo Systems installed the cargo-loading system for the prototype in June. The 2010-vintage unit 19000360, owned by Regional One, conducted its first test flight in April.
Embraer will begin converting its second E190F for Regional One by yearend and expects to start converting the E195 prototype in 2025.
